Godspell a modern retelling of the teachings of Jesus was the first major musical theatre success for three-time Grammy and Academy Award winner Stephen Schwartz (Wicked, Pippin, Children of Eden) and quickly became a worldwide phenomenon. Led by the international hit “Day by Day,” the score is filled with iconic songs including “Prepare Ye the Way of the Lord,” “Learn Your Lessons Well,” “All for the Best,” “All Good Gifts,” “Turn Back, O Man,” and “By My Side.” In this joy-filled production, a small group of performers join Jesus in sharing parables through energetic games, inventive storytelling, and a generous dose of humor, bringing messages of kindness, community, and love vibrantly and reverently to life.
